Utah Trip

We just got back from a great trip to Utah and Northern California.  It was really fun to see everyone again, and introduce the boys to a good Utah summer!  I'll post some UT pics today, and you can stay tuned for some CA pictures in the (hopefully) near future!

The little boys and I went out first, and then Andrew met us for the last couple days.  We didn't get any pictures of the awesome new Hogel Zoo exhibits, visiting the Flemings, Grandma and Grandpa Evans, with Leah & kids, nor our day at the Marshall home (meeting their chickens and trying out their new swingset) among other things.  I packed so light when I went by myself I didn't take a camera!

Our first adventure: Liberty Park!
Bonding with my new darling nephew Peter
Abe and Ben experienced their first real "ride"

Dinner with some highschool friends
Breakfast with our good friends, the Thompsons
Evans BBQ/Baby Shower for my cute cousin Liz who's having identical twin boys!

"Again, run-run-run!"
One of the trip highlights was introducing Benjamin (and re-introducing Abe) to the cabin.  As I expected, they fit right in and felt very comfortable in that little Uintah Oasis!
Learning about beavers
Abe is a budding bird-watcher, following his Babbo's lead
We missed Hannah, but were glad to have everyone else!
Everything tastes better at the cabin, even ice cream!
Ben likes to take his time when it's really good
Aaron's just happy with any taste he gets!

Abe's first early riser's fishing trip
He got one!
He was pleased, but didn't care to hold it.
Learning about catch and release
His second fish!
My cute sister Laurel with her "catch o' the day"
I didn't see much Tarahumara food, but it was still fun to be there!
We were sure glad when Andrew joined us!  Our first stop was City Creek.
Abe pushing Ben in the fountain
Andrew was the coolest Dad there, running around and getting soaked with the best of them!
Another highlight was going to the temple and then Rumbi with Grandma Marshall
Hike and "This is the Place Heritage Park" on the 4th of July
Panning for gold!
Descendants of Mary Fielding Smith posing in front of her home (please notice my baby on the left)
Ben thought it was time for a little shave
Ben dancing with the coolest Indian dancer
Posing with some reindeer
Ben and Thomas' first pony ride
Pre-fireworks bbq at Joe and Melissa's beautiful new home
