LA & St George in pictures

So, this isn't St. George or L.A. This is from the WAY fun Marshall trip to Zion National Park over the New Year's holiday. Unfortunately, somehow we forgot out camera. So no photo documentation, just fun memories. After the trip we came back to Provo for one crazy week of school, after which Andrew had a week break that we took advantage of. We went to Salt Lake for Abby(pictured above)'s farewell before she went to the MTC en route to Brasilia, Brazil! She'll be a wonderful missionary.

Directly following the farewell, we jumped in the car and drove straight to Keenan and Nonie's house in Arcadia. Keenan and Andrew both had appointments early Monday in L.A., so we had to make tracks.

We were sure glad to have some good cousin play time!
The warm weather was just the break we needed from dreary, smoggy Utah January!
While the dads were busy, Nonie and the boys and I went to the La Brea tar pits. Here Nonie and the boys are standing in front of an ancient bison.

The trip was over too quickly. Before we knew it, we were driving back to St. George to spend a little time with two sets of grandparents and Rachel and Micah. Abe fell asleep reading the Good Word Simplified on the drive.
Abraham found a new bff with Grandma. Whenever he saw her, he would lead her to this chair with a book and they would read and read.
We took a really nice walk up to Johnson's Arch right outside Snow Canyon.
I can't remember the name of this place, but it was pretty awesome! Lots of great holes for Abe to hang out in. He loved it!
We had the chance to visit Grandma and Grandpa Sorensen at their home while we were down south. Abe took immediately to them and played happily there for two hours while we were at the temple.
When we got back, Andrew and Abraham played horses while Grandma played the piano. It was a great time!

So fun! I was wondering where you guys had been. Abraham has the best expressions! And I absolutely love it where he's sleeping with the scripture reader.

I can't believe how big Abraham is. Seems like just recently you would bring him hometeaching, and he definitely wasn't walking around like in the pictures. Crazy. Welcome back!
