Animal Dance Party Music Video!

This year we put a twist on Ariel’s (5th) annual Valentine’s Day song. After recording it and presenting it to her, we took advantage of the nice weather and made our first music video! It turned out to be a great time. The theme for this year’s song was kids’ stuff: nursery rhymes, letters, numbers, shapes, etc. because of Abe’s current toddlerness. We also gave a shout out to the littlest Marshy too. Abe and I had a fun time recording it and presenting it to our favorite girl and we all had a great time making the video. And Kate, thanks for filming! Your spontaneous service rocks.

Ben Sorensen played the guitar and drums for the song—I played the cello, bass, bongos, and Abe and I sang/made noises. Ben also did a fantastic job engineering the song, using his skills and experience to mix it. If any of you in the Salt Lake area are looking for someone to help you record, contact Ben at the 29th Street Studio. He knows what he’s doing.

We hope by watching it you experience some part of the enjoyment we had in making it!

P.S. When Abe saw me in my bright yellow Choose To Give shirt, he called me a “big yellow bus.” He has about one really good joke a day and he’s not even two!
