Jesus Christ gives me hope for a better world. I have hope for myself,
my wife, my children and my neighbors through my Savior and Redeemer.
As I strive to come unto Him, I am filled with His hope and His love,
and my faith is increased--I feel optimism and enthusiasm for life. He
ignites within me a desire to go about doing good. I have a very
abundant life, filled with all the temporal and spiritual satisfaction I
could ask for. I attribute the abundance I feel and the optimism I have
to the Savior. He did overcome sin. He did conquer death. And this is
something to celebrate! There is no other name nor any other way nor
means whereby salvation can come only in and through the name of Christ,
the Lord Omnipotent. He is the way, the truth, and the life. Nothing
brings me greater joy than this sure knowledge that I have--that He
lives!
Aside from the wonderful spiritual day we enjoyed, there was also time for egg-hunting and celebrating the new life that spring brings. Check out Ben's unbridled enthusiasm for empty Easter eggs--if we'd known it would be that easy, it would have saved some time. Abe focused on the toys hidden in the yard (a plastic shovel, sidewalk chalk, and a watering can) and eventually found them all. And Ariel, the creative mastermind, filled eggs with everything from banana chips to nuts to grapes. It's been a wonderful day with our little family.
We also worked a lot on Saturday. I call this "Man's Destruction, God's Creation"

Beautiful Easter post, Andrew! I saw your testimony on lds.org. Your influence radiates, as usual.
I'll have to get a copy of the boys in front of the azaleas in your blossoming yard. That's a treasure.
Banana chips in Easter baskets? Lucky boys!
I could watch Ben's face light up over those empty Easter eggs every day until next Easter. (I've already watched this video at least three times).
Love you all!
