July 4!

Here's our belated July 4 weekend video. We had a great time BBQing with the wonderful Evans fam, hanging out at the Folklife Festival at the National Mall, going to the Capitol Fourth dress rehearsal (we liked how Aretha Franklin just walked out in her shades with some kind of shopping bags she dropped to sing the national anthem) with the Gleaves Fam, and watching fireworks shot off from the floating docks over Lake Thoreau in Reston. Let the good times roll!

Look at that darling Abraham in his new birthday duds and specs. The kid's got rhythm AND fits right in to the DC experience. I guess the Marshalls aren't in Kansas any more, and definitely not at BYU. Better brace yourselves for August. (But we'll be glad to have you home.)

You guys are having the time of your lives back East! We hope to spend some quality DC time with you in the future. Say hi to Abey Baby for us and keep teaching him new tricks! He'll have as good a sense of humor as his dad when he grows up :)

I didn't comment on this one either? How are you supposed to know that I'm reading these updates? What a fun day you had on the 4th! And what a happenin' place!
